Regarding the extension of the deadline for the transfer (ownership) process
Within the framework of Executive Decree No. 18-153 dated June 4, 2018
Pursuant to Law No. 25-17 dated December 14, 2025, included in the Finance Law for the year 2026, particularly Article 149 thereof, the Office for the Promotion and Real Estate Management of Bordj Bou Arréridj informs all tenants of public rental housing and commercial premises placed into service until August 4, 2022, who wish to acquire ownership of their housing units or commercial premises under Executive Decree No. 18-153 dated June 4, 2018—which defines the conditions and procedures for the transfer of state-owned real estate assets managed by the OPGI—
that the deadline for the transfer process has been extended until December 31, 2026, as à final deadline.
