The Governor of Bordj Bou Arréridj Province, Mr. Kamel Nouisser, accompanied by the President of the Provincial People’s Assembly, the Director General of the Office for the Promotion and Real Estate Management, local authorities, and officials from the housing sector in the province, conducted a field visit to development projects in the Ras El Oued district. During this visit, the Governor inspected the 50 + 60 public LPL project in “Erremaïl.” He noted the full readiness of these projects, as construction has been completed and the housing units have been connected to all essential utility networks. In this regard, the Governor ordered the immediate launch of the review process for beneficiary lists to ensure that housing units are allocated to eligible recipients as soon as possible. 100 public rental housing units project in Ras El Oued Municipality: The Governor also inspected the progress of this project, where construction has reached 50% completion. He listened to detailed explanations regarding the project timeline, emphasizing the need to maintain the current pace to avoid any delays in the upcoming phases. “Guelaliz” area: • 60 public rental housing units: construction has started with a completion rate of 20%. • 40 subsidized promotional housing units (LPA): work has begun with an initial progress rate of 5%. At the end of the visit, the Governor stressed the importance of continuous technical monitoring to ensure construction quality and adherence to contractual deadlines for the timely delivery of these projects.

As part of strengthening the functional dimension of this hub, the Governor emphasized the need to pay special attention to the design and construction of the associated commercial premises, as they represent the economic backbone that will ensure the provision of essential services to residents and create commercial activity within the neighborhood. He also issued strict instructions to accelerate the pace of work and to ensure the quality of construction, both in the housing units and in the commercial spaces and their related facilities.
